There is a picture of a stupid woman on Neal Boortz's website. She is pregnant and is worried what the impact of the sound of nearby jackhammers might have on her unborn child. I wonder why she's not concerned about the effect of that cigarette she's smoking? Think that will have a lesser effect on her larva?
I'd bet you money she votes for John Kerry if she votes at all.

It seems the newspaper this photot was originally published in created quite a storm on the Internet and wrote this followup article.
The "egomaniacal" talk show host the journalist mentions is undoubtedly Neal Boortz. Neal would probably agree with assessment.
I gather several other facts from this article. First, the woman is a high school dropout. She is most likely unmarried (it mentions an ex-husband). She worked in fast food before becoming pregnant. So why is someone like this having a child in the first place? I'd bet there is no way she can afford to bring up this child herself. I'd also bet she is going to depend on the government to do it. As Neal says, poor people are poor because they keep making the same bad decisions which make them poor in the first place. Does this make me seem cruel and heartless? Good.
